Four Cafés Challenge
After months of gruelling preparation—physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual—two strikingly unremarkable men embarked on a mission that would redefine the limits of human imagination and potential: visiting three cafés in a single day.
It took its toll, and for a decade they have barely been seen. But now, ten years on, with creaking joints and various food intolerances, they have come out of retirement for one final mission: to raise funds for Guhyaloka. Except this time it’s not three cafés, but four.
Over the coming weeks, these films will document every triumph, setback and flat white as two men once again attempt to transcend the mundane and raise £4,000 for Guhyaloka—one grand for each café.

Two grown men of considerable years and modest fitness have decided to visit four cafés. On foot. In sequence. They are calling it a “challenge”, which is generous.
There is no prize. There is no sponsorship deal. There is only tea, the open road, and a quiet determination that frankly none of their families can explain.
Every pound goes to Guhyaloka for the Ages. Every café gets us £1,000 closer. Nobody is being paid — least of all in dignity.
